About the Band

Founded in 2009, the Coeur d’Alene Firefighters Pipes and Drums is a nonprofit organization founded by members of Coeur d’Alene Firefighters Local 710 and consisting of both firefighters and members of the public. We are dedicated to the preservation, propagation, and enjoyment of the arts, particularly Highland piping and drumming.

The band provides free instruction for dedicated youth and adults, with no requirement for previous music experience. For more information about learning bagpipes or highland drumming, read about our instruction.
